Nicaragua Tours: Undiscovered Treasures

Nicaragua is a fascinating country that most people are familiar through the news events of the 80s, however Nicaragua is so much more.

Only 2½ hours from Miami, Nicaragua is fairly Americanized. Movie theaters play the latest US blockbusters, McDonalds and Pizza Hut are close by, and modern malls are filled with busy shoppers.

However, one aspect of Nicaragua is very different, and that is its women. Nicaragua women are beautiful, very friendly, feminine, and interested in meeting foreign men. Western tourists have not yet overflooded Nicaragua, so expect to exchange many friendly glances with the lovely ladies in Managua while you are out and about. Conversations are easy with Nicaragua women since they welcome an opportunity to become acquainted with a kind foreigner.

As typical in Latin American countries, many of the men are not content with one girlfriend, or if they are married, may have a mistress on the side. Therefore, Nicaragua women are definitely interested in finding a faithful husband who will respect his commitment to them.

The Nicaragua tour city Managua is generally not tailor-made for strolling, so expect to take taxis to whereever you wish to go. Don't worry, taxis are very inexpensive to anywhere (typically from 1 to 4 dollars) and there are thousands in Managua. Odds are if you stand on a sidewalk, one will find you inside of 30 seconds. Taxis are very safe in Nicaragua and convenient for getting around. You will not see many street signs in Managua, therefore it can appear confusing to get around the city. However, directions are usually given as one block south, 3 blocks east, etc, of a landmark or rotunda (roundabout, as in England). Understand the rotunda system and the taxi driver can take you where you need to go.

For things to do in Managua, the city boasts great marketplaces for a unique shopping experience. Also, in the city center, the National Museum of Nicaragua has very interesting artifacts and describes the historical background of the region. The general area around the museum has a delightful strolling park and eye-catching sculptures. Perhaps the most fascinating attraction is the Old Cathedral. This Spanish/Gothic structure survived the earthquake of 1972. Visitors are not allowed inside, but it makes for great picture taking.

During the Nicaragua tour, outside of Managua, you will encounter an ecological wonderland. Furthermore, Nicaraguan beaches are unspoiled and awaiting your discovery.

These charming cities are college towns and have many lovely Nicaraguan women attending universities there. Expect to see many of these ladies during the socials in Managua. If you are the adventurous type, consider hiking on Nicaraguan volcanos. Momotombo, La Casita, and San Cristobal all offer challenging climbs with incredible views.
